The World Famous Marble Temple or the Wat Benchamabophitr in Thai, is truly one majestic Buddhist Temple found at the Heart of the Thai Capital, Bangkok. It is hailed as one of the Most beautiful Temple in all of Bangkok. It literally means "Temple of the Fifth King" because the construction of this temple is requested by King Chulalongkorn or Rama V. The temple was designed by Prince Naris, a half-brother of King Chulalongkorn and is made up of Italian Marble.

Building of the Marble Temple started in the year 1899. The Buddha Statue inside the Marble temple according to Wikipedia was casted in 1920 after the original located in Wat Mahathat in Phitsanulok, Northern Thailand. The ashes of King Chulalongkorn are buried beneath the statue. The Marble Temple is also featured in the 5 Bhat coin, the Thai currency.

If you are an avid follower of Endless Expedition, this is my very first post about my travel in Thailand and my very first post about a Travel outside the Philippines with my friend and my cousin. This is truly overwhelming for me since this is officially the start of the dream I have been longing for since I started breathing, to see the world and how the Locals see's it. I can proudly say that for 3 days last March 29th till the 31st, I was a Filipino living like a Thai in their land and it feels so uplifting.

Thai people are great! Just as I have said on my Facebook account, "If all the world is made up of a family of brothers, sisters, cousins and children, the Thai and the Filipino will always be twins!" A proof to this is the countless times I have been thought of to be a Thai Citizen while I was in Thailand.

And also, this is my very first Post using my long awaited Nikon D3100 DSLR Camera. It feels so good since as I have been wanting a DSLR Camera for almost 3 years now and I can still remember what my Mom said when she was living, "If I really really really want something and it will be truly beneficial for me, Any cost will be worth it as long as I earn it!" I Love you so much Mom! This post is for you, All the posts in my Endless Expedition is for you!

This Thailand Trip is Truly Amazing! Just as their Tourism Ad says, "Amazing Thailand". Being in a foreign country is truly touching since you are being part of something foreign to you yet you choose to embrace and be part of their world even for a short period of time. All the Pesos, Dollars and Bhat I have spent does not compare to the Priceless memories and learnings I earned from this Thailand Adventure.

Now I can proudly say that on my next Travel abroad, I can do it all by myself. I have just left everything about being a Tourist, I am now a 100% Traveler.
