Seongsan Ilchulbong, Jeju Island as seen from Udo
South Korea was the latest country that I have visited. I was very blessed to have set foot on the magical island of Jeju, one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. Imagine the whole island to be listed as a wonder? Now that just means that everywhere you look is just spectacular!
It was a beautiful Sunny Spring Day when we visited Udo island just off the northeastern coast of Jeju. We rode a 20 minute ferry along with the 16 degree sea breeze accompanying us. It was amazing! From this view, you can see the famous Seongsan Ilchulbong or also known as the Sunrise Peak. It is a landmass formed by underground volcanic eruptions millions of years ago. We were also blessed to have been able to visit and climb the peak. The view from the Crater is just wonderful and memorable.
