...you are fortunate to have seen Paris when you did, trips will be placed on hold for while!
ReplyDeleteTom you can never be more correct that what you said! My trip ended just weeks before the outbreak has been declared by China and I even passed by Taiwan on that January day as a layover back to Manila. Scary really it was and I feel super blessed to have been given the chance to see Paris and Europe in perfect timing to evade this catastrophe.
DeleteHappy Weekend Tom!
What a coincidence, I just had an interview with a France-based company and suddenly this post appeared in my blog list. I hope it is a sign LOL. I have not been out of Asia and Australia, so I hope someday I could travel or even work in Europe.
ReplyDeleteYou got a good skill in capturing the moments, the pictures intrigue me even more to visit the city
That is amazing Cipu! Thank you for sharing this coincidence! Just like you I have been dreaming of someday working in Europe as well. I was blessed that my best friend lives in Paris now and work there so she invited me for a week to visit her and my dreams of visiting it came true! I pray and I know you will also travel to Europe too!
DeleteThat is so nice of you to say. But you are right, in most cities in Europe, you can just click on everywhere you can see and it will look very beautiful on the photos :)
Some photos of such a gorgeous part of the world! City of lights?
ReplyDeleteTruly it was the city of lights Susan :) Thank you so much for those kind words!
DeleteYou have some great photos here!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Rose! Paris has its magic that if you snap anywhere, anytime, good photos will be taken haha
DeleteI have never been in Paris but i really want to. I hope i visit this town soon :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a must Agata :) I hope you will enjoy it more than I did (Went there in the middle of a two-month strike! ughhh)
DeleteC'est des photos incroyable! :)
ReplyDeleteMerci beaucoup mon ami Diana!!!
DeleteC'est des photos incroyable
ReplyDeleteIt's such a wonderful place, isn't it? These photos are really beautiful. I love the black and white, too. Paris is so special in black and white. Thanks for sharing this -- I needed a dose of Paris today!
ReplyDeleteJeanie we share the same eye on that one! Black and Whites of Paris gives it so much more drama even if you can;t see the yellow lights it's famed for! And thank you for your kind words Jeanie :)
DeleteDearest Stevenson,
ReplyDeleteGlad you got to visit Paris.
The city of lights as it is also called and you caught that while being there in the evening.
No matter what season we visit, it is always special.
Great architecture, lots of history and endless walking...
On my blog, under Labels you find Paris 4 times...
Hugs,
Mariette
Thank you so much Mariette! Winter was amazing but i really hope to see the European cities I have visited again during Autumn, I;m sure it has a different glow to it. Will check out your Paris posts :)
DeleteWhat a magical looking city. You certainly did manage to visit at the right time!
ReplyDeleteYes, keep dreaming. Whatever we set our thoughts upon becomes possible for us to achieve.
Wonderful memories, thanks for sharing :)
Thank you Margaret, your kind words made me smile and I really hope to make more dreams come true :) At first I was so sad to have visited in the middle of a two month transport strike that I had to drag my luggages from the airport to my friend's place after 5 train interchanges for a total of 3 hours! But still, I realize it was perfect timing! and thank YOU for your appreciation and complements dear Margaret!
DeleteI love it when dreams come true. :-)
ReplyDeleteVery true Susie! It becomes something that will encourage you on the next dreams :)
DeleteI have heard so much about Paris but I have never visited Paris. Beautiful night lights.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Nancy :) There are spots that are not very pretty but most of it really is as dreamy as we see on movies and pictures :)
DeleteParis really does seem more and more like somewhere I have only dreamed about, though I have visited many times and lived there on more than one occasion. I had two posts that touched on Paris in the last week or so, as it's in my mind during this lock-down. Your photos are beautiful, and very different from the ones I've taken over time.
ReplyDeletebe well... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
I have to visit those posts you shared Mae, I really miss the city so much everytime my friend there would call me and we'd chat about it. Thank you so much Mae and happy New Week!
DeleteFor most of us stuck at home....this post is delightful! I will probably never get to travel to this beautiful city and I'm glad you took photos to share! Take care!
ReplyDeleteHello Lavender Dreamer, Welcome to my blog and thank you so much for your visit and comment! We are the same, I am also locked at our house for 64 days now and the only way I can travel is to look back on my photos. Glad you like them :)
DeleteYour timing was good to travel when you did. We had a great fall and winter enjoying Arizona. Right now they are peaking so we are holding off on our return to button up our RV for a long hot summer without us. - Margy
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Margy and you are very right, I was so blessed to be on that perfect time. And its a great idea to stay away from AZ for the mean time that they are peaking there. Please be safe Margy and have a great week ahead!
DeleteBeautiful photos! I love Paris. It's such a warm and charming city.
ReplyDeleteI took my parents there in 2015, right after the terrorists attacks. Part of us wanted to cancel, but we decided to push through anyway. There was no line to go up the Eiffel Tower; it felt weird. However, we still enjoyed our visit. I'd love to go back for the third time.
Kayni you warmed my heart so much when you said you took your parents to Paris. That is so nice of you and you surely made your parents very happy! My father is already 67 now and we would have been flying to Thailand next week for his 68th birthday, just the two of us and he doesn;t really know that I was about to take him also to Laos and Myanmar because he always wanted to do the trips that I do with multiple countries. But yah, COVID happened and good that the airlines allow us to save the fares on a travel fund.
DeleteHope everything is fine out there in your area. Ang gulo dito satin hayssss

Paris is one of the most atmospheric cities. Unfortunately, I haven't been there yet. My daughter dreams of a trip to Paris. I hope we will go there :)
ReplyDeleteI am very sure it will be a great bonding moment for you and your daughter to see Paris together Rodzina! You guys would love how beautiful it is both in the morning and at night.
