Paris in my Eyes

Paris, you are a dream brought to life. Thank you for making me feel like I was special, that I am blessed, and that I deserve golden moments that are set within the beauty of your existence. Forever I will be grateful, Forever, I will always long to be immersed in your lights' passionate tender kisses.

Your views and scenes and hues will forever illuminate my heart with memories of dreams come true and of rewarding hopes for those that are yet to be a reality. Let me share some of your sparkling spots through images I have seen with my very own eyes.

    1. Tom you can never be more correct that what you said! My trip ended just weeks before the outbreak has been declared by China and I even passed by Taiwan on that January day as a layover back to Manila. Scary really it was and I feel super blessed to have been given the chance to see Paris and Europe in perfect timing to evade this catastrophe.

      Happy Weekend Tom!

  2. What a coincidence, I just had an interview with a France-based company and suddenly this post appeared in my blog list. I hope it is a sign LOL. I have not been out of Asia and Australia, so I hope someday I could travel or even work in Europe.

You got a good skill in capturing the moments, the pictures intrigue me even more to visit the city

    1. That is amazing Cipu! Thank you for sharing this coincidence! Just like you I have been dreaming of someday working in Europe as well. I was blessed that my best friend lives in Paris now and work there so she invited me for a week to visit her and my dreams of visiting it came true! I pray and I know you will also travel to Europe too!

That is so nice of you to say. But you are right, in most cities in Europe, you can just click on everywhere you can see and it will look very beautiful on the photos :)

  7. It's such a wonderful place, isn't it? These photos are really beautiful. I love the black and white, too. Paris is so special in black and white. Thanks for sharing this -- I needed a dose of Paris today!

    1. Jeanie we share the same eye on that one! Black and Whites of Paris gives it so much more drama even if you can;t see the yellow lights it's famed for! And thank you for your kind words Jeanie :)

  8. Dearest Stevenson,
Glad you got to visit Paris.
The city of lights as it is also called and you caught that while being there in the evening.
No matter what season we visit, it is always special.
Great architecture, lots of history and endless walking...
On my blog, under Labels you find Paris 4 times...
    Hugs,

    1. Thank you Margaret, your kind words made me smile and I really hope to make more dreams come true :) At first I was so sad to have visited in the middle of a two month transport strike that I had to drag my luggages from the airport to my friend's place after 5 train interchanges for a total of 3 hours! But still, I realize it was perfect timing! and thank YOU for your appreciation and complements dear Margaret!

  12. Paris really does seem more and more like somewhere I have only dreamed about, though I have visited many times and lived there on more than one occasion. I had two posts that touched on Paris in the last week or so, as it's in my mind during this lock-down. Your photos are beautiful, and very different from the ones I've taken over time.

  14. Your timing was good to travel when you did. We had a great fall and winter enjoying Arizona. Right now they are peaking so we are holding off on our return to button up our RV for a long hot summer without us. - Margy

    1. Thank you so much Margy and you are very right, I was so blessed to be on that perfect time. And its a great idea to stay away from AZ for the mean time that they are peaking there. Please be safe Margy and have a great week ahead!

  15. Beautiful photos! I love Paris. It's such a warm and charming city.

I took my parents there in 2015, right after the terrorists attacks. Part of us wanted to cancel, but we decided to push through anyway. There was no line to go up the Eiffel Tower; it felt weird. However, we still enjoyed our visit. I'd love to go back for the third time.

    1. Kayni you warmed my heart so much when you said you took your parents to Paris. That is so nice of you and you surely made your parents very happy! My father is already 67 now and we would have been flying to Thailand next week for his 68th birthday, just the two of us and he doesn;t really know that I was about to take him also to Laos and Myanmar because he always wanted to do the trips that I do with multiple countries. But yah, COVID happened and good that the airlines allow us to save the fares on a travel fund.

Hope everything is fine out there in your area. Ang gulo dito satin hayssss
