It makes me so much at awe whenever I look at these pictures from 5 years ago with me having lots of hair! HAHA I started to have my hair declining in the past couple of years. It still gets longer but on a very slower pace but it's too thin that I just want to buzz it off again because it looks too thin and my scalp is already showing. But I'm not saying this because I feel depressed about my hair, it's just that I felt like a completely different person now without lots of it haha.
Here is a simple weekend I celebrated with my friends' family when they went on a Casino trip in Manila. I did not play but I had an amazing time seeing City of Dreams with my high school pals.
Me and my friend R-Jay, Lea, and Myrcel at City of Dreams Manila
Located at a 6.2 hectare area of the Entertainment City of Aseana Avenue, Paranñaque City is City of Dreams Manila, the first and only Philippine franchise of this multinational luxury resort and casino complex.

Lea, R-Jay and Myrcel are par of my Circle of friends. We have been classmates since Kindergarten up until High School. So we are literally like brothers and sisters and we stuck together up until now.

Me, R-Jay, and the Legaspi's
Right after all the games and the winnings, the fun just never stops and sent us all the way to Army Navy at Blue Bay Walk in Macapagal Avenue in Pasay City. It was so much happiness and fun! I can't wait for our next Casino trip with this family.

oh Manila, that is one place I'm interested to visit. My mum's grandmother came from there, yes I have chinese filipino ancestry :-)
ReplyDeleteOh Amy, that is very nice to hear! I am very happy that you both have Filipino and Chinese ancestry because I myself is a quarter Chinese since my Grandpa is from Fujian, China hence my surname Que :)
DeleteOh please do visit Manila (after COVID of course) Please stay at the paradise of NZ for now. I would give up all my money just to be there to be honest and breathe fresh and safe air without a mask!
What precious memories, Stevenson - so many happy photos :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Margaret! Missing my friends and their families :)
DeleteDearest Stevenson, sorry, you made me laugh!
ReplyDeleteMy (other) Brother shaves his head since ages as... "it shows".
Thin hair all my life, Nieces as well. Alas. Things could be worse!
Friends and family are MUCH more to the heart than hair. And you have that!
Aaaaand all the places you´ve been to! You all look so happy, it´s a joy to see!
:-) "Peace, Bro!" Thank you again for a big, big smile!
P.S. Lille Corinna is still stuck somewhere... poor wee one, hope she´s OK.
Now let me dig and find something to join you here!
Ah! I guess it's my German genes that give me my thin hair! Ha! But you are right, it can only get worse right?
DeleteAwwwww you are very much right on that dear Iris! Sending you hugs from the cooling Philippines to my dear sister in Braunschweig!
Sounds fun. I don't think I've seen City of Dreams. Will check if it's streaming on something...so little to watch these days...
ReplyDeleteThank you so much dear Lydia! Christmas soon! My student says it's getting too hot there in OZ!
DeleteGreat photos, looks amazing :-D You all look so happy :-D And don't worry about your hair, least it isn't grey yet! I started going grey at 21 :-O
ReplyDeleteI didn't have an issue with this post, it showed in my feed.
Did you get my comment on the postcard blog? I noticed it hasn't been published yet? Still not got yours yet.
Dearest Ananka! I am super happy that you received my postcard!!! I will be sending you another one :)
Delete...remember my friend, God only created a few perfect heads, the rest of them he grew on.
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA I love this my friend Tom!
DeleteYou look like you are having lots of fun! I do like your short cut in the blog photo now too, so I wouldn't even worry about your hair-smile. I missed last week because we were having our Thanksgiving weekend. That's what my post is about, so you can see how busy I was--and how much fun I had even though we are in these covid times. Hope you are well and happy December!
ReplyDeleteDearest Erika I had so so much fun with your Thanksgiving post! Felt like I was also there with you on dinner on your beautiful home!
DeleteThere's something special about the connection you'll always have with the people you grew up with, eh? :)
ReplyDeleteThat is very true dear Becky! Becky I always leave comments on your blog but not sure why it's not getting posted when I click publish :( Hope it's getting through
DeleteWhat a great trip, and warm memories to recall and share here Stevenson. Thank you, it is an enjoyable post. The thinning hair reflects the awesome brain power underneath that is overheating your scalp ;)
ReplyDeleteStay safe
Blessings
Maxine
Oh Maxine I was os touched by your comment haha! Thank you so so much! Please be safe and greetings to Summer in NZ!
DeleteHi Stevenson, by coincidence I'm posting about our trip to the Philippines in December 2018 as it will be my daughter's 2nd wedding anniversary in a couple of weeks and she married in the island of Panglao.
ReplyDeleteYou all look like you had lots of fun :)
Oh dearest Sami I very much enjoyed and feel honored with your post about our islands! I hope you had a very good time in our country! Love to see your family on that Tricycle!
DeleteWe had a great time for sure, people were friendly, food was great and cheap for what we are used to.
DeleteAnother fun journey with your life friends. Special friends and times are precious and few. Enjoy every minute of it, my friend.
ReplyDeleteWhen my husband really started losing his hair he just started shaving his head himself!
ReplyDeleteHow endearing and beautiful those meetings are, how good it is to meet and share experiences, the hair thing, you do not worry, law of life, those happen to all of us, to me now almost white and the hairdresser still tells me that best white that is not transparent, that is, nothing.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend.
Best regards.
Hello Stevenson,
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for sharing these lovely photographs from five years ago.
The time flies by doesn't it.
You certainly all looked very happy.
Wishing you a great weekend and a happy week ahead.
All the best Jan

Geniales fotografías. Te mando un beso desde Ecuador. Ten una buena semana
ReplyDeleteLooks like quite the place and quite an outing! Fun!
ReplyDeleteBoa tarde meu querido amigo. Fico feliz que você aproveitou bastante essa viagem.
ReplyDeleteThat was quite a crowd. You must have had to take a bus to fit all of you. We have gone to casinos for the food which can be reasonable and good, but so far never to play any "games." Missed the link party again this week. I must keep on a schedule. Despite the COVID-19 restrictions I seem to get behind on all my tasks at home.
ReplyDeleteMy balding brother-in-law always says it's proof of manhood, because men who have a lot of testosterone go bald :)
ReplyDeleteIt must have been a very successful day. It is true that I do not like casinos, but going out with friends for fun is something else :) It's nice that you create such a harmonious package. Friends are a real treasure!
❤️❤️❤️
